A small piece of solace in a burning world at threat from the Three Demon Kings, we figure this dark-roasted toasty herb-y yaupon represents a pleasant take on the sorry state of the Karthun. I mean, it's not called the Lands of Conflict for nothing.
Yaupon, native to the southern USA, is the only caffeinated herb native to north america, clocking in just under the caffeine level of tea. Considered a weed in many of the states, most farmers cut it away and burn it without ever realizing its true nature.
When prepared dark, it is made like a houjicha green tea, oven-roasted until it can't take any more, resulting in a smooth, dark, toasty flavor. Like a bright side taken from a burned world.
